Today was the GMCS Food Truck Cook-off! Ramah, Tohatchi, and Miyamura students in the School of Business pathway served their dishes as part of their food-truck business project. Principals came together and voted for their favorite. The winner will be announced at the district business showcase on May 29th!

There has been a time update for Gallup High's School of Engineering Showcase for next week. The showcase will be on May 12th from 8:00 am - 11:00 am.
Today, CCTE Culinary Arts students from Miyamura, Thoreau, and McKinley Academy were celebrated at the UNM CCTE Recognition Rites. Under the direction of Chef Arvin Macapagong, these students have spent the semester mastering the art of the kitchen. After the award ceremony, those in attendance were able to enjoy a special menu prepared and served by our graduates. Congratulations to our CCTE Culinary Arts students!

During the experience, students explored how science, technology, engineering, and medical knowledge are applied in real-world emergency response situations. Opportunities like this help students connect classroom learning to future careers while gaining valuable insight from professionals who serve and protect our communities every day.

We're very proud of our students for their preparation and insightful presentations. The future is bright for our students who are working on being the next generation of healthcare professionals.
